Each session with a client is specifically tailored to their needs that day.  Using a combination of deep tissue and acupressure massage the client and I work as a team to find and release tension within all areas the body. This massage and can be very intense and may be uncomfortable at times, however, the end result is complete relaxation, more mobility and a greater awareness of your own ability to relieve stress.

What To Expect
Clients usually undress for the deep tissue massage portion to their underwear, however, client’s private areas will be covered with a sheet or towel at all times. No exceptions. The client may choose to keep their clothing on in which it should be comfortable exercise pants or shorts and a top.  The client lies either on a cushioned floor mat or on a massage table.  The massage will help you begin to use diaphragmatic breathing as I work into the belly and other areas of the body.  I will use my hands and different sizes of the Block Buddy™ to work deeply into the tissue and help it release.

After your massage you will feel it’s easier to breathe deeply and have a sense of calm relaxation.  Plan on having an epsom salt bath that day and allowing your body to rest if possible. You may find yourself tender in some of the areas we worked and I suggest using heat and epsom salt baths to help them feel better faster.
